Very Very Busy Busy Busy

Holy moly!! I can't believe I haven't updated in like a month. Well, I guess that's normal for me, but still--I had been planning on updating like a week or 2 after school started, but I've just been getting busier & busier by the minute. I felt really stressed this weekend, especially since my mom wasn't here to help me. You see, my grandparents drove here from Texas (arrived here on Wednesday), so they really wanted to see our house in Vermont. I, of course, couldn't go w/ everyone 'cuz I had to play @ the football game on Friday & plus, I had a lot of work to do. So, my grandma (my mom's mom) stayed w/ me. Last night the 2 of us saw "Tap Dogs"; it was OK, I almost fell asleep though 'cuz parts of it were sooooo boring and repetitive.
Applying to college is incredibly stressful. I'm gonna end up applying to like 13 schools, can you believe it?! I just can't make up my mind. I need to get to work on my essay; we're starting that soon in English though, I think that'll help me a lot. So far I've visited 16 schools; in a couple weeks mom & I are flying to Ohio to look at 2 schools, & the week after I'm going up to NY w/ dad. I still need to ask like 2 more teachers for recommendations. I don't have a top choice school, so I won't be doing Early Decision (as of now), but I will be doing Early Action for those schools on my list that do that.
What's also stressful, is that I have to try to sell @ least 3 more ads by Thursday--that's part of our grade for yearbook. It's a pain in the neck, I have to admit, but later I'll be thankful that I spent the time selling ads to reduce the cost of our yearbook. We're aiming for an all-color one, but that's quite a longshot. We have yearbook meetings every Monday from 7 to 9 pm, but it's not bad 'cuz she [teacher] brings pizza & ppl bring snacks, drinks, etc. Tomorrow's gonna be quite hectic for me, 'cuz I have a National Honor Society meeting right after school, then I have to zoom over the hospital (where I'm volunteering) from 3 to 6 pm, chill @ home for a couple minutes, then go back to the high school for the yearbook minute. Phew!! At least I'll be able to do some of my homework @ the hospital.
Unfortunately, 'cuz I'm so busy, I'm not able to be in this fall's play [it's a musical--"Anything Goes"] but I'm gonna be in the pit orchestra. I think that'll be fun; and plus, it doesn't take a lot of your time. @ least I'll be participating in the show.
