Village Fair

Hey! It's been a little while I know, but y'all know how busy I've been (& also how forgetful I am lol)...but anyway, a lot's happened since I've last updated-I'll just tell you what's happened in the last couple of days...well anyway, this weekend's the Stonington COMO's (I work there part-time, remember?-as a camp counselor) Village Fair, a big fundraiser (so far they've made a lot of $ lol). Last night was the Silent Auction, which took place at the COMO itself; Mom, Hannah, & I were among the many people who volunteered-we carried around trays of food. I ate a lot too: I had like 3 [small] pieces of pizza, a smallish bag of popcorn, 2 brownies, & 2 cookies!! I know, I was hungry; I didn't have dinner before I got there...oh, &, today's the fair itself, which takes place in the borough, on the library's lawn. I helped Mom self raffle tickets-first prize's a sailboat-from 12 to 1, & then we had some things to eat. I had dessert first actually-I had this really good brownie cake thing, w/ chocolate frosting! & I also had a water & a cheeseburger...Yep, that's basically the jist of it all. Oh, & I drove today-well, I didn't drive into the borough; we had to park by the viaduct 'cuz we knew it'd be hard to find parking in the borough....yep! I've been driving some lately, & I think I'm starting to get the hang of it! It's pretty fun actually, & it makes you feel like you have a lot of power!! ;) Anyway, tatta!!!
