Summer!! Yay!!

Hey! Well, I guess I haven't updated in a while! I was planning to right after school ended, but--as you know--I have such a horrible memory. But it's a not a big deal...Anyway, school officially ended exactly a week ago today, but Thursday the 17th was the last day I went to school. No one really goes on the last day 'cuz there's nothing to do--exams are over, attendance isn't taken, so why come? So, instead, I spent the [1/2] day with my mom at school w/ her cute 4th graders. It was fun [I did it last yr btw & didn't get in trouble]--I participated in the schoolwide sing-along, & had an ice cream sundae w/ the kids. And plus, I got to see my ex-teachers [that's where I went to elementary school]...Friday was graduation, my last year playing there for Band 'cuz next yr I will be graduating!! Yaaaay!! I can't believe it, I'm gonna be a senior next yr! I already have senioritis lol...last week Mom, Dad, bro, & I went to our house in VT (Saturday-Wednesday). On Sunday we all went for a long hike; unfortunately, I got a horrible blister on my right ankle, and now there's still yucky stuff coming out of it. (sorry for the gross details) We played tennis twice; on Monday we visited St. Michael's College in Burlington--it's a really nice campus, but of course, we visited it in the summer so of course that's not the real weather...ok now on w/ the present...
At the moment I have one part-time job--soon I'm going to start wking @ this cool shop in Misquamicut. Hopefully I'll have another job--yesterday I had an interview @ the Mystic Seaport; I wked there last yr so hopefully that'll increase my chances of getting a job.
My days this summer won't be filled, but I will always find something to do. Aside from wking, I'll be playing tennis (I really hope I'm on varsity next yr), practicing flute (I really really want to get into CMEA next yr), wking on web sites, & for a couple of wks preparing for my grandpa's 70th bday party [I'll exlain later].
