Halloween

Hey! A lot's been going on lately! I know it's been a couple weeks since I've last updated, but that's because I've been soooooo busy--w/ mostly schoolwork & play rehearsals. Today is not only Halloween, it's also the day grades for the first quarter closed! Yikes! I'm really nervous that I won't get on highest honors this year; I want to maintain my class rank of 9th, but I highly doubt it, considering how badly I've been doing in Physics lately. Oh, by the way, that reminds me that I haven't said anything in here about that stupid Physics test; but, you know, I don't really feel like ranting & raving right now (I'm trying to be in a good mood 'cuz it's a holiday), so if you really want to know about it, you can ask me...anyway, as I was saying, I'm a little concerned about staying on highest honors. Some of my friends think I'm a little crazy for calculating my GPA to make sure I get a 4.0 (the minimum GPA to get on highest honors), but that's just how I am--I worry about things like all the way, which isn't really a good thing...well, anyway, let's talk about Halloween instead! Today I went to school wearing: my white-ish pajamas, an awesome robe, messy hair, white-ish socks, & the coolest, furriest slippers (I got the robe & the slippers at Wal-Mart last night before rehearsal). To my surprise, very few people--compared to last year--dressed up. A lot of my friends didn't dress up, & in my classes there were only like a couple people who dressed up in each class (including me). I wasn't like embarrassed or anything, I was just surprised at people's laziness (no offense). Or perhaps they forgot or just didn't want to. How can you not want to dress up (even if it's just pajams); I guess some people think they're too old. Well, I'm 16 & I dressed up, & I'm not even going trick-or-treating (I stopped after 6th grade); there's a football game tonight--it's strange, don't you think, to have it on Halloween night?--which means that I have to play at it for Band, which I don't mind at all. My band teacher said we can wear costumes if we want to, & I believe he even said that there was gonna be a contest for the best costume. Like I'd win, lol. There were a lot of other people like me who wore their pajamas. It's soooo easy though, & plus, it was the only "costume" I could come up lol...Anyway, that's enough blabbering for now, I'm probably putting you to sleep.
