Busy Summer

Hey! Wow, I haven't updated in over a month. Sooooooo much has happened since then; I would'nt even know where to begin. If I tell you to much you'll just get bored lol. Anyway, I had a really busy week!...
This was my first week working at the COMO summer [day] camp (Monday through Friday, 9 to 4); I worked there last summer basically every week (you an look @ my past entries if you'd like). Don't ask why this is my first0 week working there this summer--it's a long story (sort of)...well, as I was saying, I worked at the camp this week. Oh boy was it hectic and somewhat stressful!! Even though there were two other counselors, keeping my group under control was very difficult; they were extremely wild. And, to make it worse, the kids were picking on this one girl (she's heavy & has emotional problems); I can't believe that kids can be so mean, even when they're only 7 & 8 years old. Imagine what they'll be like as teenagers!!...This weekend I'm working at a store @ Misquamicut Beach (where I'd been working on the weekends) from 1-5: today (I'm back now obviously) & tomorrow. It stinks that I'm working @ 1 'cuz that's when the Blessing of the Fleet parade is. Oh well. It's not that big of a deal.
Next week my mom & I--w/ my bro tagging along--are going to Pennsylvania to look @ some colleges: Dickinson, Muhlenberg, Moravian, & UPenn. The first 3 are on my college list; my mom pretty much begged me to agree to look @ UPenn, 'cuz she really wants to see since she went there for college. I guess I have a pretty good chance of getting in, because she, her father, her mother, and her brother all went there @ some point. It's kind of big, but not as big as University of Delaware--another college on my list--which I liked a lot.
Wednesday morning through Friday night (this week) my parents were away on their 20th anniversary "vacation" @ Martha's Vineyard, while my mother's father stayed here w/ my bro & I. My grandpa has a pretty cool car, & on Thursday we drove around w/ the top down--that was fun!! Also, since he used to be the director of Hoyts Cinemas, we got to see Spiderman 2 free. That's always what I look forward to when he comes here. Unfortunately, now that Hoyts has been bought out, the rest of us [everyone besides him] can't go to the movies free anymore; it was weird for my mom 'cuz she went to movies free for basically her whole life.
Well I think that's it for it...oh, & 1 more thing: I'm going to Italy!!!!!!!!!!! By myself!!!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!! That's kind of scary, 'cuz I've never flown by myself before. But I'm excited 'cuz I love to travel. I'm going to stay w/ my grandpa's (the one who stayed at our house this wk) girlfriend, who has a house in Tuscany. I don't know any Italian though, but I'll try to learn some basic phrases by the time I leave---btw, I'm leaving August 26 I believe; flying out of Logan Airport in Boston, & flying into Milan, then changing planes & flying into Florence, where my grandpa's girlfriend will meet me. This is going to be soooooooo much fun!!! Anyway tatta! :)
